Holiday schedule

Our offices are closed for statutory holidays on December 25 and 26, as well as January 1.

WFG ROCKS Call Centre

We will be closed on December 25 and 26, as well as January 1. On December 24, we will be open until 1:00 p.m. and December 31, we will be open until 4:00 p.m.

Other than that, there are no exceptions to our standard service hours of 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. ET.

New Business year-end processing

Important deadlines for new business

To help you settle your pending insurance business before year-end, please note the following key dates and guidelines.

Written New Business
December 31
All new business applications including eApplications, conversions and replacements received in good order by 12:00 p.m. ET on December 31 will be processed and considered as written business in 2024.
Settling Requirements
December 31
If all delivery requirements are received in good order by 3:00 p.m. ET on December 31, we guarantee the case will be settled in 2024.

To expedite the types of cases listed below, please email [email protected] prior to the noted cut-off times:

  • Promotion Runs
    Please contact your Sales Director to see if you qualify for promotion run support.
  • Special cases
    Rush cases that require immediate attention to expedite them through the process.
  • Speedy settlement
    If the Underwriter approves a policy for issue and the only outstanding requirement is the initial premium, you can accelerate the settlement of the policy by obtaining a written request from your client to withdraw the initial premium from their bank account.
  • Grouped files
    Request for grouped files to be issued separately.

Policy delivery requirements – on webcappow!

You can accelerate the settlement of your new business policies by uploading the delivery requirements on webcappow:

  • Directly through the client page under the Delivery Requirements section. Read more

Transaction processing deadlines for Inforce Life and Investment Products

Note: You can securely submit inforce Life and Investment Product transactions online by using our Send Documents tool.

Key Date Deadline
December 24 To ensure that transactions receive the trade date of December 24:

• Transactions for Life and Investment Products must be received by 1:00 p.m. ET

Wire transactions for Investment Products must be received by 1:00 p.m. ET

If trades are received in good order after this cut-off time, the transaction will receive the trade date of the next business day, December 27.

December 31 To ensure that transactions receive the trade date of December 31:

• Transactions for Life and Investment Products must be received by 3:00 p.m. ET

• Wire transactions for Investment Products must be received by 4:00 p.m. ET

If trades are received in good order after these cut-off times, the transaction will receive the trade date of the next business day, January 2.

January 2 Business as usual.

Note wire trades – FundSERV holiday hours:

December 25 & 26 – Closed
January 1 – Closed

The ivari.ca site will be available throughout the holiday season.

Access to webcappow will be available throughout the holiday season.
