Charitable giving
At ivari, we give back to help make positive changes for our communities and the people we share them with. Our charitable giving takes several forms.
United Way Centraide Canada
Our long-standing partnership with the United Way Centraide Canada allows us to give back to organizations working to make a difference in the communities where we live and work. The funds raised by employees during our annual fundraising campaign are matched dollar-for-dollar by ivari, doubling our impact. We also hold events throughout the year to raise additional funds for our local United Way chapters.
ivari’s Healthy Steps Program
As a life insurance company, we have a close understanding of what it takes for people to lead long and healthy lives. It takes practicing healthy habits like eating well, and getting enough exercise – habits that are best formed when they’re learned as children.
That’s why ivari is committed to supporting programs that help give children and teens the knowledge and preparation they need to get a head start to lifelong healthy living.
Through ivari’s Healthy Steps Program, we support organizations that help teach young people skills that empower them to develop healthy habits, particularly in areas such as active living, healthy eating, and health education.
Employee giving and volunteering
ivari supports employees who donate their money or time to causes they care about.
We match employee donations to registered charities and provide employees with paid time off to volunteer.
