As of Friday, October 7, 2022, you will be temporarily unable to download your Quebec CE credits using ivari’s self-serve system on ivari.ca (My Live Sales Training History tool).
Instead, Quebec CE certificates will be emailed to you directly. This temporary change is necessary while we update our system to account for the new regulations from the Chambre de la sécurité financière (CSF). Only Quebec CE-accredited presentations conducted live on or after April 23, 2022, are affected. CE credits for all other provinces are not affected and remain accessible on the self-serve tool.
New regulations from the Chambre de la sécurité financière (CSF)
Due to new regulations from the Chambre de la sécurité financière (CSF), advisors registered in Quebec must now take an online quiz after attending live sales training given in webinar (virtual) mode. The quiz must be passed with a grade of at least 60% and completed within 7 consecutive days of receipt. For presentations that are held live and in-person, this new regulation does not apply. This rule only applies to courses that have been accredited (or renewed) by the CSF on or after April 23, 2022, that are subsequently available virtually by webinar.
How you will receive your Quebec CE credits?
You have until Friday, October 7, 2022, to visit ivari’s self-serve tool and access your CE credits for Quebec. After October 7, 2022, ivari will email Quebec CE credits to advisors registered in Quebec for any live training sessions attended on or after April 23, 2022. You will receive your credits if you have met the criteria required for attendance and/or quiz completion for that course.
How long will we be unable to download Quebec CE credits from ivari.ca?
We anticipate that the self-serve tool on our site will be back up and running in early 2023. Any CE credits issued prior to April 23, 2022, are still accessible on the ivari.ca website.
Will this affect any CE certificates earned via our Learning Centre?
No. Any CE certificates you may have earned on the Learning Centre will not be affected.
