Using LifeView after ivari 360 launch
You have two options:
Option 1: You can continue the current process and submit the illustration to ivari 360. Note: Illustrations created in LifeView will not show under the Illustrations tab on the ivari 360 workspace.
Or
Option 2: You can redo the illustration in ivari 360 and create the application. The benefit of doing this option is that being on one platform, you can make edits (for example changing face amount or client name) in ivari 360, if needed. Also, clients created in ivari 360 will be saved and available under Choose Existing Client in the Create Illustration pop-up for future illustrations/applications. Note: Illustrations created in LifeView will not show under the Illustrations tab on the ivari 360 workspace.
Illustrations created in LifeView will not be moved to ivari 360. You may continue the application process as you do currently within the Application tab.
Client information stored in LifeView will not be transferred to ivari 360. Only clients created in ivari 360 illustrations will be saved and available under Choose Existing Client in the Create Illustration pop-up for future illustrations.
General ivari 360 questions
The information you entered is autosaved, no action is required.
Currently for Conversions, a LifeView illustration must be used with the paper or fillable Conversion application.
All modern browsers work with ivari 360 except for Internet Explorer.
ivari 360 is web-based platform, and only available online.
You can access your illustrations in their respective language. Toggling between the languages is limited. If you use both languages, a good way to find and identify your French and English Illustration cases is to use Case name and add a description.
Navigating ivari 360
If your illustration is created in ivari 360, you can update your client’s information in the Client tab. Applicable information for the illustration and application will automatically be updated.
Owner’s name can be updated in the Owner screen within the application.
Your recently worked on cases will be displayed at the top in My Workspace within their respective tabs. You can also use the Advanced Search function within each tab.
- Only newly created clients in ivari 360 will be saved and listed under Choose Existing Client for future illustrations.
- Note: LifeView client information will not be moved to ivari 360.
Use ‘Quick View’ to see the coverage and premium information selected for an Illustration. Alternatively, Coverage at a Glance and the full Illustration report also show the premium information.
Compare Illustration tool will be displayed in the Action drop down when there are more than one Universal Life illustrations opened for the same client.
Use Copy Illustration under the Action drown down to duplicate a current illustration and create another scenario with it.
The Savings from Layering report page can be selected in the Report Design screen. This report page is optional and will only be displayed when savings from layering is available.
Accumulation with ART tool is selected in Advisor Preferences. You can select to turn on/off this tool within Illustration Preferences and it will be displayed for any Universal Life illustration.
Note: Accumulation with ART screen will always be displayed when this tool is turned on and will only display alternate scenarios when applicable.
The solves are listed in the ‘Illustration Options’ drop-down list in the Policy Details screen. When solves are completed, they will be displayed in their respective screens. For example, a completed solve for a Term rider face amount will be displayed in the Riders/Optional benefits screen.
Applications must be created from within the Illustrations tab.
To specify a required additional deposit, please provide specific instructions in the Advisor’s Report section and/or contact your New Business Case Coordinator.
To select JLTD – deduction to first death coverage type, first you must select Level COI in the ‘Cost of insurance’ type field to enable JLTD – deductions to first death coverage type.
Good to know
- ivari 360 has dynamic fields, and some with a drop-down list where available options will display based on your overall inputs.
- In the Withdrawals and Loans section, when you are entering years ‘From Age’, remember that ‘Age’ means start of age plus 1 year.
