Our secure “Send Requests” tool allows both advisors and customers to easily and securely submit requests for all inforce policy transactions online.
The following chart outlines the recent updates made to the eligibility and criteria for accepting Adopted/Pre-formatted eSignatures and Draw eSignatures.

A secure signature and confirmation must be displayed on the document.
Double authentication using phone (SMS) or email must be sent to customers for accessing and signing the document. Audit/summary page of the electronic signature end-to-end process must be attached with the electronically signed document (except for documents settled via the eDelivery process). |
Presence of a signature (Draw) that must be comparable to the one ivari has on file.

All of the above criteria must be met in order to process the transaction.
Note: E-signatures are not accepted for a Change of Beneficiary transaction in the following provinces: Yukon, Northwest Territories, Nunavut, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Nova Scotia, and PEI. For these provinces, a wet signature is required.
